This website is an introduction to the music of French composer Claude Tricot.
Claude Tricot (1926-2009) pursued a scientific academic career, first in Montreal and then in Geneva, while being active as an organist and a composer.
His compositions are built on the natural harmony that underlies the music of Jean-Philippe Rameau. It is a search for true beauty. Inspired by poems dating from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century, Claude Tricot paid special attention to French melody.
